CHA Product Pics

THE GOLDEN CRICUT -- TA DA! AND THE GYPSY!!
The Gypsy by Provo Craft. It is basically the Design Studion on the go. It has a stylus and is very light. You can upload all your cartridges to this machine via a cord - but once you load it on one Gypsy it cannot be loaded on to another. You can still use the cartridge with your machine. It comes preloaded with two cartridges. It is PC and MAC compatiable. I connects via a USB cord to your computer and you can save cut files from gypsy to computer and vice versa. You can also upload pictures and connect it directly to printer to print pictures. You no longer need your books because if you hit shit lock it gives you all options for the key (i.e. disney). Battery life is 4 hours continuous use. It will retail for about $299.00. Also 4 new cartridges, a kitchen one, paper dolls, wedding/love, and christmas/winter - with this one you can cut and make 3D houses - like a minature christmas village.

Off to CHA

Here are the new stamps from Hero Arts called clings - they are rubber stamps like you see on the wood block except they are not mounted and cling to the acrylic block. These were hand cut but will be laser cut when released.

The acrylic was inked using the refill ink from copic markes - we even air brushed using the copic markes - way cool. the second pic is actuall an acrylic sheet sent through a printer and printed a digital template from Prima and colored with copic markers.

I landed in Orlando, FL on Sunday for the Craft & Hobby Association Scrapbook Trade Show. This is where store owners go shopping for products to bring into their store. I was hoping to catch in some sight seeing before the show begns in about 9 hours. But the weather had other ideas.

Monday is Education day for us retailers - we get to take classes sponosored by manufacutures to show us new product, how to use their products and how we can bring these new products, or techinques into our store. Here are a few samples of the clases I have taken. Make sure to kept checking back every night as I upload pictures of new products as the trade show begins!
